My Favourite Beauty Brands

flat lay of book, palette, fairy lights, mascara, roses and more make up

Violet Voss: I've tried the Holy Grail palette and their Perfect Weapon Applicator. The palette has become my favourite, I use it daily but it's perfect for nights out as there are a lot of glitter/shimmery shades. They're very pigmented and easy to blend. I love how compatible all of the shades are in each palette. If you're interested in hearing more about this palette, I have a review that you can check out hereThe applicator has also become a daily essential for me as it uses less product and makes blending really easy.

KVD: Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, Tattoo liner and Studded Lipsticks are the products I've tried by KVD. If you keep up to date with my blog, you'll know the everlasting liquid lipsticks are my favourite as I included them in my Top 5. I bought the liquid lipsticks when they were first released in Debenhams so I got a free tattoo liner mini with my purchase. The applicator is fairly easy to use, the pigment is great but I'm still useless at eyeliner and prefer not to wear it. The studded lipstick is a recent purchase of mine. I have the shade Lolita which is such a beautiful pinkish red. If you'd like to see a full review, let me know in the comments below!

Urban Decay: My first high end palette was from Urban Decay, which set a high standard. I have their Naked 2 Basics palette which is a perfect everyday palette. It's small and compact which is great for travelling. Their eye primer potion is the best thing, if you haven't tried it yet you need to! It makes my eye shadow stay on all day.

Benefit: I've tried a lot of products from benefit and they've all worked amazingly. Their packaging is so pretty and I love the collections they make, especially during Christmas. I love trying out their products with the minis they include in gift sets. I would love to do a more in depth post on benefit, if this is something you'd like to see let me know.

Too Faced: Another brand with pretty packaging, they completely fit my aesthetic. I love their eyeshadows and the Better Than Sex mascara has become my favourite mascara! Their most recent Christmas house gift set has so many beautiful shades and I can't wait to see what they'll be releasing this year.

Becca: I've only tried one product but I love this brand already! Their highlighter is amazing, mine is in the shade Opal. It's so easy to blend and creates such a lovely glow. It's also buildable if you prefer an intense glow. The powder is super pigmented and the different shades look so compatible with many skin tones.

These brands are my favourite as every one of their products I've tried has worked so well for me. I also love cruelty free brands, which everyone should aim to get on board with. They're also brands I use daily and I look forward to trying more of their products. Are any of these brands your favourite or are there any you haven't tried? I love to hear your opinions so be sure to leave comment!

  1. Cruelty free products are something I've been more aware of recently too. I haven't actually tried any of these beauty products before but they sound lovely!

    1. It's always good to follow cruelty free brands! I wish more brands were though. Sometimes, before I go for a more expensive products, I'll try to find a mini or a collection with it in. You should definitely try some of them out if you get the chance!

  5. You definitely picked out some amazing brands. I love the too faced chocolate soleil bronzer and still need to try other brands you've mentioned, but I am such a drugstore kinda girl haha.

    1. Thank you! I haven't tried that bronzer actually. I don't really go for drugstore brands as they don't really compare to products a bit more expensive, plus most of them aren't cruelty free. I love Revolution though!
