3 Products that will Finally Cure your Dry Skin

From all of the skincare products I have tried, the most natural ones are most effective. Pure Potions is a skincare company that focuses on dry skin conditions and are very gentle so can be used on babies and on any area of the skin. With conditions such as eczema it is best to avoid added perfumes and fragrances, which Pure Potions also avoids. 

INTENSIVE LIP BALM £4.99

The intensive lip balm is perfect for not only moisturising lips but it can be used anywhere, such as around the nose or eyes. It is very moisturising which makes it perfect for windy weather as a protective barrier against the harsh environment. The lip balm is made with beeswax, olive and hempseed oils. There is a very faint scent of hempseed oil but other than that there isn't an overpowering scent, which I prefer. I love having a lip balm that I notice making changes and improving any dry patches. 

ORGANIC ROSEHIP OIL £18.99

This oil is particularly effective on scars as it contains vitamin A, vitamin C and essential fatty acids such as omega-3 and omega-6, all of which encourage the skin to heal. This gentle oil can also be used on stretch marks, uneven skin tone and dehydrated skin. I have a scar on my ankle after breaking it and having a few operations, so it's helpful to have something natural to take care of it. It has a really pleasant scent which isn't very common with such oils. 

 MOISTURISING OINTMENT 60ML £12.99

My favourite product out of the three has to be this ointment. It's perfect for dry skin, especially for eczema, and is gentle enough for babies. It has a waxy consistency and needs to be warmed between fingertips to help with application. A little definitely goes a long way, which makes the price even more amazing. I love using this every once in a while where I previously had eczema, just to keep my skin moisturised and prevent it coming back.

CB12 Review

It can be hard to find dental hygiene products that actually prevent bad breath rather than just mask it for an hour or so, which is why I was excited to try out the CB12 range to see how effective they really are! The products are more expensive than most of the products I would normally use. 

I have been trying out their mouthwashes which are available in the normal version and a mild or white version. I've tried the white one before and noticed how much a difference there was when I started using it regularly. It also claims to strengthen your enamel which is great! My teeth can get rather sensitive so I try to avoid whitening products as they can be too strong but I was able to use this without any issues. It's definitely worth paying a bit extra compared to normal mouthwash to see such a difference and actually feel your teeth becoming stronger and healthier. 

The mild mouthwash has my favourite flavour out of the three as it isn't overpowering and it smells amazing! I've noticed they all do eliminate bad breath all day and I've never tried a mouthwash that has actually left my mouth feeling so fresh all day long. The original mouthwash of course does all the same and is great if you're not worried about the taste of mouthwash compared to the milder one. 

The other products I tried was the CB12 boost chewing gum and the spray. The chewing gum has the perfect balance of flavour and they do an amazing job at preventing bad breath! They're really addictive as they leave such an amazing taste in the mouth and the hard outer shell on them make them even more satisfying to chew. It also claims to inhibit plaque growth due to containing xylitol, which I did notice was true as it felt as though they were also cleaning my teeth. I've also never tried a breath spray but this works instantly and I love how it provides immediate freshness!

Mother's Day with Prestige Flowers

I received this beautiful bouquet from Prestige Flowers. It arrived in a large box and the flowers were already arranged. They were in black wrapping which fit well with the box the bouquet itself was in. There was care taken in the presentation and how they were packaged. The box added a little extra something. 

There are a lot of beautiful flowers in this bouquet, I particularly like the roses and lilies and it was exciting waiting for them to bloom! The closed lily buds really showed how fresh the flowers are.
