Finding the perfect maxi dress
Tuesday, 26 July 2016
Dresses are probably the most versatile piece of clothing, making them perfect all year round for any occasion. This summer is no exception; you can find a huge selection of beautiful maxi dresses on JD Williams. The one I was sent is currently on sale for £41.30 and there is a further discount code and free delivery on the site! This maxi dress has a lovely deep purple background with bright contrasting flowers. It also features an elegant draped fabric to flatter along with the elasticated waist. The material itself is very flattering and doesn't cling or appear uncomfortable. This dress would be great for summer with some lace up sandals to create a fresh look. Maxi dresses are also great for the evening, especially when you're on holiday! Be sure to take a look at the available summer dresses on JD Williams.

Cruelty Free, Natural and Vegan! - PHB Ethical Beauty
Sunday, 24 July 2016
PHB Ethical Beauty are the perfect brand; cruelty free, vegan, handmade, natural, eco friendly and 20% of their profit goes to charity! With such pure products it is clear your skin will benefit.
PHB sent me the gentle skin care gift set and their nudes pressed palette. The gift set is for sensitive skin and eczema. The Natural Health and Beauty Awards 2016 named their range the best for eczema! Inside is a cleanser, toner, serum and moisturiser.
The cleanser is olive and plum; it removes makeup well and is great for my skin as I sometimes find cleansers can irritate my skin.
The rose water toner smells amazing and is my favourite out of the range. By this step my skin already feels fresh and restored.
The serum is Aloe and Sweet Almond which absorbs fast, the pump is easy to control the amount you want and it also smells very pure and fresh.
Lastly from the range is the shea butter and apricot moisturiser. I love apricot moisturisers and this one immediately hydrated my face! The gift sets are great as you can see how great they work together. This one is currently £45. There are also ranges for dry skin, oily skin and acne.
PHB also have a range of pressed palettes and this nude palette is £59.95. They are highly pigmented and provide a healthy glow. They're also so long lasting and blend well.
The palette includes two blushers and four eyeshadows. From left to right; blushers: Caramel and Tea Rose, eyeshadows: Almond, Papaya Whip, Chocolate and Smokey Quartz. These powders are so pretty and shimmery; PHB have so many palettes I can't wait to try some more!
A new addition to my skincare routine!
Science of skin have formulated a solution for stretch marks, particularly aimed at new mothers. However, there are many causes of stretch marks, so many of us have them. The only product I can compare this to is bio oil. This particular product is a cream, making it easier to apply than an oil. It absorbs rather quickly and I noticed a difference after a couple of days. The recommended application is 10 - 12 months seeing as stretch marks are very stubborn and seem near impossible to get rid of. When I finish the bottle I'd be more than happy compare the before and after!
The Little Nonsense Store
Sunday, 3 July 2016
The Little Nonsense is the home of beautiful handmade cards. Each card is made from scratch, which makes the occasion much more personal. Handmade cards are always better than those mass produced ones. By purchasing handmade cards you can also avoid that awkward moment when someone already has been given that card from someone else! These little cards are also only £2!
One of the cards says 'let's camp out' surrounded by cute little plants, which seems perfect for summer as it is the perfect weather to go camping! The inside of the card is blank, leaving you plenty of room to write out your message.
The thank you card features small green and pink dots and is also empty inside. I love the simplicity of these cards, they're the kind you would want to leave out even a month after your birthday. They're very unique, who wouldn't love them?
Get yours here.
