Young Mobile UK
Monday, 22 December 2014
I received a Vodafone R207 MiFi dongle and a Vodafone Smart 4 Turbo smartphone from Young Mobile . I'm so used to my iPhone 5 it was strange at first. But once I got the hang of the Vodafone Smart 4 I couldn't put it down. I got so used to easily pressing the back button that when I went back onto my iPhone I'd be tapping at a blank part of the screen next to the home button... I got spotify premium for a month and honestly, I've never listened to so much music in that amount of time. When you go back to the free version you realise how good and worth it it is to buy premium. The phone itself is good, I like how the back camera is positioned in the middle of the phone. However the quality of the camera isn't great and one of the main things I use my phone for is the camera. I like the ways the phone can be unlocked (weird, I know). At one point I set it to face unlock where the face camera opens and all you have to do is hold it up to your face and you're in.
These tags come with the phone, it's such a good idea. You can set them to activate anything you wish. All you have to do is put the phone onto the tag at it activates which ever mode you've set it to.
The wifi dongle is so helpful, I basically brought it with me everywhere. Dongles basically create a Wifi hotspot wherever you are, it's very simple to set up and use. Once it's up and running, multiple devices can connect to the wifi. My nan doesn't have wifi at her home so this was a life saver haha. I recommend following +YoungMobileUK as they're always doing competitions to win products! I won a pocketboom wireless speaker - it's small I was surprised how loud that thing can go..

Trinite Village
Sunday, 21 December 2014
What's a bath without a bath bomb? The only bath products I've used is Lush, that is until Trinite Village sent me these awesome bath bombs and soaps - or in the words of Trinite Village 'Whoopie Blasters' and 'Bath Mallows'. How pretty are they all though?? I couldn't wait to run a hot bath and try them out!
The pink soap smells amazing and is currently sitting beside my sink. It looks so pretty and most importantly it does its job. It doesn't feel harsh on the skin which is important to me as I have sensitive skin. All of the soaps on Trinite Village look so pretty, I just want them all..
The blue soap has an amazing colour! I'm not too keen on the smell. I was expecting it to smell like apples or something fruity - it smells soapy more than anything. It smells like something my nan would use but in saying that it makes it a good present. It's just not for me.
'Spoiled Pretty' bath mallow (the pink one) smelt sooooooooo good - raspberries! The way it fizzed in the bath was awesome too, afterwards the bath was a light pink and I noticed the white flower floating around for a while haha. It contains cocoa and shea butters, pure geranium and vetiver essential oils which they claim to 'relax' and 'balance' you, which I found to be true. It's worth taking a look at the rest of the bath mallows on the site, they're all so pretty.
My favourite was the chocolate/coffee 'whoopie blaster' - I'm not sure what the actual scent was but that's what I smelt. The smell was so much stronger than the bath mallow it smelt incredible. The sprinkles made the bath look like it was sparkling. I love the shape of the 'whoopie blasters'.

Arm The Animals
Thursday, 30 October 2014
Arm The Animals is an amazing charity who aim to raise awareness and generate funds for small, struggling animal rescues. I love animals and to find a charity that help them instantly intrigues me. Come on, it involves animals! How could you not help out?! ATA creates t-shirts with awesome graphics of animals, most of them armed with a weapon which I think looks awesome. All you have to do is buy a shirt and in doing so you're helping out animals in need, how much easier could it be?!
ATA kindly sent me an awesome shirt to review and I've been so excited to talk about it and let you guys know about ATA's amazing work. I found it hard to decide which design to go for because they're all genius. If I could have them all, I would! I finally settled for the 'King Of The Jungle' top. Slightly less 'inappropriate' for college. I wanted one that I could wear to college so I could tell people about ATA. Even if you don't buy a shirt, you should definitely raise awareness for this charity and share this blog post.
LALALAB Review £5 off!
Saturday, 4 October 2014
I'm so excited to be finally telling you about Polagram! I've been thinking about buying a polaroid camera, but when I came across this app there was no need! Polagram kindly let me choose which product to review and I decided to try out the giftbox. Below you can also find a £5 off code.
36 photos for £12.69, you can choose between 'PolaStyle' (which is what I chose), 'Classic' or 'Regular'. I think the price is amazing, not only for the giftbox, but for the other versions available. You can pick from individual prints, large prints, poster, photobook or even a phone case.
There are a bunch of different ways you can decorate your room with polagram photos, I simply used white string and small pegs (I got from the range for £2) to hang my pictures in 3 rows. They're such a great way to capture memories and display.
To get your own just download the polagram app and get uploading your photos. Delivery is rather fast and the quality of the prints are amazing. I really love them! I already have plans on buying the photobook... Use my code PGKWQZO1 to get £5 off of your order!
UPDATE;
Polagram have recently changed to LALALAB and have added new print sizes, colours and greeting cards.
W7 Make up Review
Monday, 29 September 2014
I was so happy to be kindly sent a range of products from W7. I've never tried out their make up so I couldn't wait to see how they were. When I went onto the website to get the prices for the review, I was shocked at how affordable these products are. This is what I received:
Angel Eyes - Out On The Town £6.95
I can honestly say I'm in love with these colours. I love neutral tones, especially in eye shadows! There is a lovely range of colours, 4 of them are more matt that the other 3 which are slightly shimmery. They're very pigmented so a little goes a far way. They look really nice on , pretty much all of the colours compliment each other well.
Butter Kiss - Red Light £4.50
This lipstick is my favourite out of the products I received, I love the colour and W7 have a range of reds and pinks to choose. The lipstick itself is moisturising and unlike other lipstick at this price, it lasts fairly long and doesn't dry up my lips. I love the packaging, I mean it's pretty standard but I think the clear part looks awesome. You can see the colour of the actual lipstick through it.
Chunky Bronzer - £4.95
This product was a nice surprise, I wasn't expecting a bronzer in the form of a stick... The bronzer itself is powdery, I expected it to be more creamy just because it was in a stick, but the fact it's powdered is far better. It's very pigmented, which I found out by applying a light stroke and ended up having a dark brown line across my face. Despite this, it blends well so in future I'll just have to apply less pressure I guess. I'm not too keen on the plastic lid, but other than that I think the design is clever. W7 have some other bronzer's that are boxed, the packaging looks awesome and I've love to try one of them out. Have any of you guys had them?
Daddy's Girl Blusher - £4.95
My photography doesn't really do this product justice... Oh well, take my word for it the colour is pretty. Like the other products, it's very pigmented. This isn't a bad thing, it just means you have to go a bit easy. I'm not a fan of the packaging but that's just me. They have got some other blushers with nice packaging.
Lashtastic - Black £4.95
I love the packaging of this mascara a lot. The brush is big and spreads out my lashes perfectly. Makes them super long, if you're going to try out any product, I'd recommend this one! Such a good price for the quality. My eye lashes don't clump at all. Although, sometimes there will be bits of black mascara under my eye which is a shame but to be honest, this won't stop me from wearing it.
I hope this review gave you an idea of what to expect from W7, I'd recommend at least checking it out. You might even come across a new product you'll be stuck with for years.
Your Dreamcatcher
Sunday, 21 September 2014
Your Dreamcatcher kindly sent me a pair of their jogging bottoms to review. I had to pick them up from the post office because the parcel was too big to fit in my letter box, we were on our way to Ikea so I wasn't able to try them on until we got home. Inside the parcel there was a small card with the logo on one side and the words 'A winner is a dreamer who never gives up. Nelson Mandela' on the other which I thought was nice, the message was rather motivating.
The joggers themselves are grey and the insides are a soft sort of fleece material which makes them perfect for lounging around in during the winter. The inside material does moult a little, I found bits of grey felt fibre on my leg but this isn't really a major problem, I mean it's probably because they haven't been washed yet. The amount of clothes that do this though, you kind of expect it. It's worth it though because they're lovely and soft.
I really love the logo, it's the perfect size and I think it looks pretty. I love the feathers and the alternating colours. I got a size 10 because I wanted them to be slightly baggy, I love the way they fit. The cuffed ankles aren't tight at all. I think they'd be better with an elastic waist because I find that I have to tie the string quite tight to keep them up but then again it's probably because I got a bigger size. A few pockets would be handy too but all in all I am really happy with the jogging bottoms I received and I would definitely recommend them to you! You can get yours on Your Dreamcatcher for £27.99, they also sell tops and jewellery.

E.O.S Mint Lip Balm Review
Monday, 15 September 2014
Two words. Lip saver.
I would say this lip balm is fairly popular but I didn't quite get the fuss... Until I tried it that is. It's so moisturising and has made my lips so much softer. I ordered mine from Naturisimo, I recommend buying from them as the parcel didn't take too long to arrive and when it did arrive it was packaged well.
I think the packaging itself is pure genius. It looks so awkward to hold but it fits perfectly in your hand making it easy to apply. The indent for your thumb helps with grip which is probably why it's effortless to put on.
E.O.S has created a range of colours which all have a different flavour. The flavours include Berry, Blueberry, Pomegranate, Tangerine, Honeysuckle Honey dew, Summer Fruit, Lemon, Strawberry Sorbet and of course, Mint. I chose purely because I love the taste, smell and the colour of the packaging is my favourite colour. EOS have also just released two new Visibly Soft Lip Balms in Coconut Milk and Vanilla Mint (perfect combo!) I definitely want to try the lemon one too.
The shape of the actual lip balm itself is so different which is probably a reason for it's popularity. It just makes it fun to apply and I know I'm not alone. I would really recommend trying this lip balm out.
Let me know what you think of it and if you haven't tried it out yet, what are you waiting for?

Sixth Form Haul
Sunday, 14 September 2014
That time of year has come round once again. Back to school. Only this time it's a completely different experience for me as I'm starting sixth form. Not only does this mean much harder work, but I can finally wear my own clothes! So I brought a some essentials to get me through the first few weeks.
One of my favourite purchases was this striped collar top from Topshop with ribbon detail above a keyhole cut out on the back of the top. It has a small pocket on the left. I love wearing this top with a pair of black jeans. (£20)
The next item I brought was a textured, oversized cream top. It has a slight split hem, making the back a little bit longer. Most of the tops I purchased were plain tops because I was really lacking in simple tops that I could just throw on with a pair of jeans. I wasn't exactly planning on arriving at sixth form over dressed. Forever 21.
I got this red checked shirt from Forever 21. Shirts like this are perfect to wear with the plain tops I brought and it goes really well with my white jeans. I think I paid £15. |
This shirt or 'flannel', is also from Forever 21. It's oversized and fits perfectly. I love how the sleeves are so long, it's so comfortable. |
This thin striped top is slightly cropped and has a small pocket detail. I was looking for a top with this pattern and when I finally found it I picked up my size without hesitation. I think it'd look really nice with a pair of high waisted jeans, which I don't have. It's on the list.
Back to Topshop, I purchased two racer back styled vest tops. One in black and one in grey. The material is sheer but not see-through. The fabric is really soft and I plan on buying the white one too. £8.
I've never owned a pair of joggers and I thought it's about time I did. I'm so glad I decided to get them because they're the most comfortable bottoms I own. They were only £11 in Forever 21!
In sheer panic that I didn't have a school bag, I brought a small satchel from Primark for the first few days which I didn't actually end up using however I do plan to do so.
My favourite item was definitely my boyfriend style coat. I got this from Bank, it's by Blonde & Blonde. £50.
These necklaces are all from Forever 21, the store had so much nice jewellery and it was all priced reasonably.
There are a few other bits I didn't take closer pictures of and write about because they're in the wash and I feel really impatient about uploading my first post... Thank you for reading :)
